We are looking for a Lead Instructional Designer who would independently manage the instructional design requirements through the entire project lifecycle and take responsibility for enhancing learner performance through the learning experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Defining high-level instructional approaches, instructional strategies, and assessment strategies for the project
- Understand and document the project requirements—through conference calls with project stakeholders and SMEs, query documents, inputs from the project proposal and project manager
- Outline, and script the storyboard for the development of the learning
- Interact with the project stakeholders from the client organisation to explain your approach, design and content decisions, answer queries, discuss feedback, and find mutually acceptable solutions
- Collaborate with the design team to offer inputs required to create a cohesive design approach, doodle the elements of the learning product, and review the developed product before it is delivered to the client
- Contribute to the team through peer reviews to support other Lead IDs with the design and development process for their own projects and mentoring junior IDs assigned to your projects
Required Skills:
- Excellent written English skills, including familiarity with UK and US writing styles and standards
- Good verbal English communication skills while working with clients from the UK, US, and Europe business areas
- Capacity for creative and analytical thinking to create solution
- Defining high-level instructional approaches, instructional strategies, and assessment strategies for the project
Education and Experience:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 10+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in instructional design
