Job Overview:

We seek a talented and creative Animation Specialist to bring storylines and characters to life through visually stunning animations & motion graphics in various mediums such as videos, films, and games. As an Animation Specialist, you will possess a keen eye for detail and artistic flair, effortlessly transforming scripts and concepts into captivating computer-generated animations. Proficiency in CGI software and storytelling is essential to excel in this role.

Your role will involve developing exceptional visual frames using 2D/3D or other techniques to create graphic elements, illustrations, and special effects. By leveraging your artistic aptitude and technical skills, you will breathe life into narratives and characters, captivating audiences with your imaginative creations. As an Animation Specialist, you will play a vital role in the production process, collaborating with a team of designers, directors, and other professionals to bring projects to fruition.

Job Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with other creative teams to create compelling and eye-catching corporate animations, special effects, films, and videos for effective implementation of audio-visual design strategies.

Various elements of the role include:
Pre-production
Design brief – understand requirements and design goals for animation/video strategies in line with design specifications and style guide.
Analysis – read scripts and storylines to understand animation requirements
Brainstorming – collaborate with lead designers to brainstorm/doodle concepts and storylines.

Ideation – Conceptualizing audio-visual design strategies such as Motion Graphics, Character 2D Animation, Explainer Video, Mixed Media Video, Kinetic Typography Animation, Infographic Animation, Web and Apps Motion Graphics, Hybrid style videos, and Whiteboard animation etc.
Create visual storyboards that depict the script and narrative.
Create sketches, artwork, or illustrations.Mock-ups – design proof of concept or keyframes for internal & external presentation

Production
Work with a wide range of media, graphic design, After Effects, and animation software to develop the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images and ensure they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements.
Ensure synchronization of frames and audio.
Develop completed and high-quality animations, in a timely manner.

Post-production
Accept and work with feedback to create on-brand deliverables at every stage of work.
Synchronization of animation with professional audio and audio effects Generate translation-friendly synchronized subtitles/close captions.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation
eLearning tools & techniques – Candidate must have experience and expertise in a wide range of tools/applications used in the eLearning industry such as Adobe Suite, Articulate Suite & so on
Additional interests and experience in Illustrations, animation design, UX/UI will be considered relevant, but not essential.
Knowledge of character creation, layouts, animation fundamentals, special effects, and typography.
Proficient in CGI animation software (Advanced level – Adobe After Effects, Animate, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Vyond, Video Scribe etc.)
Hands-on experience in MOGRT coding would be an added advantage
Relevant work experience in Motion Graphics, Character 2D Animation, Explainer Video, Mixed Media Video, Kinetic Typography Animation, Infographic Animation, Web and Apps Motion Graphics, Hybrid style videos, and Whiteboard animation.
A creative storyteller with presentation abilities
Comfortable working with project deadlines and budget restrictions
Teamwork and excellent communication skills

Education and Experience:

Proven experience as an animator – minimum of 5-8 yrs. latest experience in the e-learning industry
Degree in computer animation, 2D/3D, graphic design, fine arts, or relevant field.
Should have a portfolio of related work across several creative projects
Masters /Bachelor degree in Design – candidates from Design institutes will be preferred
Additional interests and experience in Illustrations, animation design, UX/UI will be considered relevant, but not essential
